Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. We’re back at it with what we expect to be the first in a series of significant updates over the coming weeks. As always, we thank you for your feedback and continued support. Your input is invaluable to our development and we are excited to get these new features into your hands. Let’s get started!

Engagement is once again the focus of this week’s update. Whereas our last update unveiled the Verity Engagement Record (VER) -transparent, permanent evidence of fiduciary responsibility and/or participation- this week we are unveiling where those records are housed, the Verity Engagement Library. The Library not only serves as an archive for concluded engagements, but also as a destination to discover ongoing engagements, build coalitions, and research thematic content and shareholder resolutions attached to the records. And like any other library, it’s open to the public. In service of our mission to increase the transparency of financial markets, it is possible for non-Verity users to access individual VERs via their permanent URL or any search engine. We’ve also continued to build out the capabilities of our Engagement Management tool by introducing a new membership management solution and improved invitation workflow. More details below.

We’ll be back (very) soon to discuss new organizations that have joined Verity, the exciting research they will be bringing to the platform this month, and updates to our research and analysis tools. Stay tuned! If you wish to speak with us directly, please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@verityplatforms.com to schedule a call.

?️Verity Engagement Library

We are excited to introduce the Verity Engagement Library to you today. The Library not only houses our Verity Engagement Records, but is also a destination to discover ongoing engagements, build coalitions, and research thematic content and shareholder resolutions. The Library is fully accessible to all Verity users and can be accessed by navigating to the Interchange, clicking the drop down menu and switching from Engagement Management to Engagement Library. Content can be filtered on Type, Stage, Theme, Sector/Industry and Company and soon users will be able to search for content directly from Verity’s search engine. Non-Verity users can also access individual Verity Engagement Records on a one-by-one basis (one VER per session) via their permanent URL or any commonly used search engine. At Verity Platforms we strongly believe in the self-regulating power of market transparency. We believe it not only leads to more informed decision making around capital allocation, but also results in increased market participation and ultimately more inclusive markets. When these three elements combined, we believe the capacity exists for a positive, transformational impact on society.

Throughout our beta the number of records is likely to remain low, however as we exit, expect to see those numbers grow as well as the addition of other external resources. In short time, there will be considerably more information to dig through. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions on this feature!

Improved Engagement Membership Management
To continue our support of our Engagement Management solution we’ve significantly overhauled our membership management workflow. Requests to join engagements and responses to invitations now flow through the notification bell and the Verity Engagement Record within the Engagement Library. Within Engagements themselves, we’ve introduced a right panel to review existing members -participants and observers- as well as pending members (users invited to the engagement or users that have requested to join). We will continue to refine both the Members and existing Attachments panels over the coming weeks.
