Feature Updates – August 2021

Welcome to our development update for the month of August. We hope everyone is enjoying their final days of Summer and are gearing up for an eventful Autumn. This past month saw the exciting unveiling of our Coalition Management Solution, enhancements to our context-aware Sidebar, and general stability improvements to the platform. We will dive into each below.

? Coalition Management Solution

One of Verity’s primary goals is to make information actionable. We do this through several means, including our Holistic Analysis tool and by allowing for expert engagement alongside research, but today we are excited to unveil our Coalition Management Solution! Coalitions are organized groups of individuals that give life to information by acting upon it through their efforts to address identified issues. Sometimes coalitions are broader industry efforts, or “action-arms” of stakeholder organizations, and in some instances they can even simply be ad-hoc groups that have coalesced around an issue. As with any large group of people, coordination can be a challenge. Verity’s Coalition Management Solution allows all of these groups to better coordinate and amplify their efforts through a combination of organizational, research, and engagement tools to increase the probability of a successful outcome.

?️ Featured Sidebar Content

Verity’s context-aware Sidebar provides information to users when and where it is needed. We are excited to add a “featured content” section to the Sidebar. This new section not only allows research creators to directly communicate at-scale with users analyzing their material, but it also allows users to more easily find high-quality context from experts and the creators themselves while conducting their research.
